Today I want to talk about my new thunder stick. The awesome Remington 870 SPS Super Mag Turkey/Predator Shotgun. Holy Crap is this gun awesome for turkey hunting. To be honest, I stumbled across this gun after I had bought a Mossberg 535 Turkey/Waterfowl Combo. I kept the Mossberg about a week and returned. That is when I found this amazing shotgun. It comes with everything that you can think of. The 20" barrel is perfect for easing through the woods. The ShurShot® pistol grip is very comfortable to hold. You know how it can get hard to hold still while those darn birds and in view but not range. This gun also can in Mossy Oak Obsession pattern which I love. I also don't see many guns in that pattern. Another great plus is this gun comes this the TruGlo® 30mm red/green illuminated scope that is mounted on a Weaver-style rail. The gun can handle a 2 3/4", 3", or a 3 1/2" shell. They even throw in a padded sling. There is an extended turkey choke tube as well. I was patterning lethal shots at 45 to 50 yds with no problem. Opening weekend, I took a bird at around 35 yds with this gun. I am very happy to own this gun and will be recommending this one A LOT!!!! God Bless.
