Hello everybody,
One of the reasons that I am doing this blog is to try and help my readers make informed purchases. I love the outdoors and am trying to learn as much as I can about the products. I am very excited about this product.
The product that I want to talk about this time is the Nikon ProStaff 3-9x50 rifle scope. The one that I have is the black matte with the BDC (Bullet Drop Calculator) in it. It is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed so it is waterproof and fog proof. The BDC lets you shoot comfortably at different ranges and you will know to you will be dead on. It has multi-coated lenses for light transmission up to 90%. All of these things aren't rare. A lot of the other scope companies have this. What got me about this scope was how great of a scope it was at the price they ask for it. You should be looking close to $250 for this scope. I put one on my .270 last August and used it this past deer season. I got at least 20 minutes more of great shooting light with it. All deer hunters know what that extra 20 minutes means to us. That could be the difference of getting that great buck or going home empty again. $250 is nothing to pay for a scope. Again, I am just a normal hunter like the rest of you. I have a wife, son, and a daughter on the way. I can not spend the money for the German made scopes. To be honest, you don't have to anymore now that Nikon has introduced the ProStaff Series. They also make bios from the same series. I would think that they would be just as good of a product. I am hoping to get my hands on some. If I do, I will be sure to let ya'll know. Until next time, God bless
Craig
